Brooke Parker is a native New Yorker with lifelong ties to the city’s independent school community. A graduate of Christ Church Day School, Nightingale-Bamford (K–8), and Riverdale Country School (9–12), Brooke graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a BA in Child Development and Spanish. She received an academic scholarship to attend Columbia University Teacher’s College where she earned an MA in Early Childhood Education (Birth–4th Grade).

As a former independent school student, teacher, learning specialist, and admissions coordinator—and now a current independent school parent—Brooke understands the ins and outs of the independent school world from every angle. She began her career by substitute teaching at over 25 of Manhattan’s top preschools and independent schools before serving as a Kindergarten Teacher, Learning Specialist, and Admissions Coordinator. In admissions, she designed and administered assessments, conducted interviews, and wrote official evaluations of applicants—giving her a unique understanding of what schools truly look for.

For more than a decade, Brooke has guided families through the admissions process with insight, empathy, and an unparalleled success rate of students being accepted to their top-choice schools. Her approach is collaborative and highly personalized: she partners closely with families, tailoring each session to a child’s interests and learning style. Brooke enjoys assessing young children to uncover how they best absorb information and helping them connect new concepts to their passions and the real world.

As a former educator and parent, Brooke brings a teacher’s lens to each family—often highlighting developmental strengths and nuances that parents may not have fully recognized but that schools would want to know. Many families find written components of nursery and ongoing school applications daunting. Brooke bridges that gap, ensuring each application authentically and powerfully reflects the child’s potential.

Because of the time and care she devotes to each client, Brooke accepts only a limited number of families per admissions season. All of her work is conducted with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
