Frequently Asked Questions

Admissions applications are typically released at the end of August. The earlier you reach out, the better! I usually book up by the end of April each year, so I recommend contacting me as early as possible to ensure availability.

I work with families at every stage of early childhood—some begin working with me during pregnancy to ensure they have everything in place before their baby arrives. This can include creating thoughtful baby registries, identifying pediatricians and specialists, selecting books and products, and signing up for classes.
I also support families as their child grows, helping to establish age-appropriate routines for babies and toddlers, recommending enrichment opportunities, and curating class options that align with developmental milestones.
In addition, many families continue working with me even after the school admissions process is complete. Whether it’s guidance around transitions, academic or developmental support, or ongoing parent coaching, I’m here to help families navigate each chapter with confidence.

Absolutely. While I specialize in New York City schools, I have also supported families navigating admissions in Connecticut, Florida, Boston, and beyond.

I work with families applying to both Nursery Schools and ongoing schools (K–8 and K–12). My only request is that families trust the process and trust me. When I offer suggestions, they are always grounded in what I believe is in the child's best interest. While I understand that some families may have a particular school in mind—especially if an older sibling attends or a parent attended—I ask families to remain open-minded. What was right for one child or generation may not be right for another, and I’ve seen many second children thrive after finding a school that’s a better fit for them.

Once a family reaches out, I send a confidential Family Intake Form to better understand their goals and how I can assist them most effectively. We then schedule a consultation to discuss the child, the family dynamic, and the parents’ hopes and dreams for their child’s academic journey. We'll also review their school list and determine which package is the best fit for their needs. After the consultation, we will set up a time for me to assess your child. Once I assess your child, we will have a conversation to review my findings, update your school list, and review the game plan I've created. From there, the admissions and enrichment packages will begin. There is a commitment for Enrichment Sessions through the Admissions season (early February) although many families decide to continue.
